I have updated and completely re-vamped my friends rules.

It is much more serious this time around. I never wanted to have a militant attitude towards my friends; I wanted to be as open as possible to people. I wanted to come across that way.

Unfortunately, if I can't do that anymore, I feel the situation warrants it.

I have seen a few things on my friends list I dearly wanted to remove some people for, but I didn't feel that was fair, considering that my earlier policy of removal didn't cover those things.

So I had to change my friends rules, and here they are.

All new rules are in effect immediately.

I have a question...

What is a troll journal?

[livejournal.com profile] stormsigma is an example. Maybe [livejournal.com profile] crazy_ramblings, too. His entries don't seem to make sense at all, so what's the point?

Do I have a troll journal? I'm serious. I don't even know what the heck one is.. but I suspect I might. I didn't understand your examples. The crazy one, sure, that was easy... but the other one... I didn't understand what was up with it?

I must have said something bad in my journal. It was me, wasn't it? OMG, is this a troll post? I'm not trolling, whatever that is, I'm just wondering. I haven't been able to post since this entry. You have to understand... I'm a little crazy.

You can tell me. I can take it... (really)

*stares at you*

Dude...you're not a troll.

Okay, now, I consider trolls to be people who do/say things online purely to get reactions. Usually negative. Of course, we ALL are guilty of looking for SOME degree of attention. But hell, if you're a troll, I dunno what that makes me, because I'm the one who's supposed to be so opinionated and pissing people off.

The other guy I consider having a troll journal because he keeps it just to write stuff to piss people off. I ran into him in the eminem community, where he posted a negative comment about how all us Em fans are mindless sheep who blindly follow what MTV tells us is cool. (And I don't watch TV, period!) He just wanted to stir shit up.

As for not being able to write...sometimes we need breaks, that's okay. Don't worry about it. But if you're really concerned, try pulling up an update box and just writing whatever comes into your brain. You don't have to end up posting it. You might write with the expectation you will post...you might not. (Maybe that'll be too stressful, but I know it works for me when I can't write to pretend I'm going to write anything for an audience. Without an imagined audience, my writing falls flat. But that's just me.)

My English prof always likes to tell us, "You don't start out writing and have it come out perfect. You write until you get to the point where you find what you want to say."

I don't recall you breaking 2 by my standards.

You're telling me you've backstabbed me????

The rules seem very up front and fair to me. I don't believe I've broken any of them...! I know most of my entries are depressing, or what have you...but I don't think it's a true troll journal. I love reading your entries, but anytime you get tired of mine, just let me know. I wouldn't be offended....I know we're very different, but that means nill to me...I respect you highly as a person.

*kick* I'm not taking you off, so there.

I don't always get your entries, that's true. Okay, I guess I should have asked this before, but what exactly is your relationship to Greg? Husband? *sheepish grin*

And that was a very sweet comment, it made my day when I read it. I would have replied earlier if I wasn't so damn busy. :(

*kicks you back*

Yes, he's my husband. We've been married for four years. When I talk about him being gone, it's because he drives over the road for a living. He's only able to be home on weekends. I whine too much ;P

*glad you're not taking me off* :)
