"D-boy" would be me. Always is - unless it's not. But I have not seen any imposters of my greatness yet.

*mutters* Some of my corrections make the sentences correct.

i despise all the stupiditiy of people rating journals, its like rating primetime telelvision shows, this one has this many things, this special content, this style of writing. Hello these are people's lives they're putting up, they're not there for you to say 'his writing sucked, her userpics are boring, blah blah blah' that whole thing has just so utterly turned me off

That's what I thought UNTIL I actually started to read the community and all the comments...and I realized something. The people who ask for journal reviews (and they won't review anyone who doesn't ASK) are usually:

1) Cool people who deserve plugging.
2) All KINDS of people who think it is funny to get reamed out (and aren't bothered by it.)
3) The kind of idiots I went to high school with.

My only problem now is with the quality of the REVIEWS. *mutters*

yah, i don't know how they review the reviewers, but it drives me bonkers when people with bad grammar comment on someone else's grammar.

--d.,
fast and loose with the grammar myself, but at least i ain't complaining about anyone else's

People just ask to be reviewed on an entry that's in the userinfo, and then the mod [livejournal.com profile] chadfeu says yea...or ignores them. It seems...I dunno. Pretty arbitrary.

Know the feeling...when you get a sneaking suspicion you're not as cool as you think you are? Heh. :D

Oh, and if you're wondering why I had an anon alter ego, it's because I had clashed horribly with someone I met through that comm, and I was trying to keep a low profile.
