Today in science class, Pat fell asleep. So our science teacher, Mr. Finlay, told us to draw something on his face, and got us a black marker. Everyone was cracking up, and thought it was so hilarious, but as usual I got volunteered to do the job everyone else was too chickenshit to do.

So I decided to draw a long-eyed smiley face. I got both eyes and was starting on the mouth when Pat woke up and went beserk. He grabbed the pen right out of my hand, got a grip on my shirt and repeatedly stabbed me in the left cheek. So now I have a bruise there that's a nice purplish red color with a blue (not silver) lining. [Thankee, Pat, it prolly looked like a giant zit in the pics Carmen took at lunch.]

It remains to be seen if it will fade quickly, or develop into a big blotch that will make everyone feel obligated to inquire, "What happened?"

dontcha hate when you get vollunteered for things without you knowing it...esp the things no one else wants to do....
