They were ranting about this guy in feminist_rage. I mostly skimmed through what was going on, but now he's posting whiny crap in mens_studies. He's claimed to be trying to understand, but he's not trying at all.

Why is it that the people who Just Don't Get It(tm) are the loudest?

Oh right, because feeling entitled to make YOUR opinions the pivotal point of any discussion is an aspect of privilege!

wow. those are some heavily opinionated people trying to convince others that they aren't.

And you're right... they don't seem to listen... they seem to just read until they see a trigger word then attack, without noticing the context.

I'd say that it isn't worth the trouble to argue with people like that for that very reason, but, then, I tend not to argue with most people.

He's awful. He posted twice to feminist today - once to say something, and the second time to complain because his first post got no comments.

I sincerely hope no one ever thinks I'm as stupid as he clearly is.

The worst part - and I was discussing this with my mother - is that he seems to sincerely root for feminist issues. If he was just a troll, he'd be much easier to ignore.
