Another tech day. Sorry if anyone's getting bored w/ this.

Tia (girl in Drama 30) is putting on Tommy for her project. As in Tommy, the musical. With a live band. Booyah!

I'm backstage for this, w/ Nick, Kat, Roach, and Owen. This show requires several major scene changes including moving a low BED on and off stage (yes a bed), two rosten (sp?) blocks that are a bed/couch, two armchairs, a small set of dresser drawers and a Christmas tree. That's right, a Christmas tree.

But that's okay...it only takes one person, 'cuz it's a Charlie Brown tree. ;)

It was very hot...like a sauna. I was sweating like crazy, and that's not even as bad as it's gonna be during the show. The one thing I hate about this tech thing is how long I have to wear my binder, and how sweaty and uncomfortable it gets. --_--

Then I missed my bus home, and had to wait half an hour for the next one. --_--

I saw the real production of Tommy once...it was cool...

Think of it this way, I bet the whole thing was fantastic ;)

It actually hasn't gone up yet. There's one more rehearsal yet to go. Whew! But I bet it will be fantastic. :)

As long as the live band doesn't drown out the singers.

that sucks when ur binder conducts alot of heat.

mine did that alot. especially when the heat is like a sauna.

I made my own by using some kind almost like elastic stuff. I found in a sports store.
Its about 7inches. and goes around perfectly. it isnt to hot or nothin'.

sorry bout' missin ur bus man, I should know thats a waste.

Mine is spandex, and wouldn't be that hot, except I wear a t-shirt under it to keep it from biting into my armpits, and a bra on top to help keep it in place. It all adds up.

Whew! Man, you must have so much hotter than the rest of us! I was only wearing a shirt and bra, and I was hot! So I can only imagine how hot you were. You're a real trooper, Danny.
