And I'm glad everyone who responded is okay. That's good; sometimes I get paranoid, but I'm not always entirely clear if a weird sensation means something. With me, it probably doesn't. Just things I see and hear.

I don't blame you a bit. I was woken up from a deep sleep one morning by my dad shouting my name in my ear. Of course... he was about 100 miles away... and had just gone into the hospital with the leukemia.
(and he didn't make it, of course)

I hear things all the time

Well, not all the time, maybe 4-5 times a year? Usually someone calling my name, usually one of my parents, usually my dad. He's OK so far. *knocks on wood* I think it's just someone thinking about me, very loudly. Hmm. Last month I heard an unfamiliar male voice call my name, now that tripped me out. Anyway, it's never been anything bad, that I know of.

Now my glass teacher, back when I was a ceramics teacher, heard her mother call her name (from, I think, about 500 miles away), right when her mother died. :-( I've never heard of something physical like knee-slapping, though. (knee-slapping? now I wonder if this isn't a joke, considering the date) Maybe someone just didn't want you to miss your stop?

I've got stories, yep, but I've only ever felt someone die once. Guess I'm not old enough.
