May. 19th, 2002 08:17 pmWent to see Spider-Man again today, with my dad and sister this time. I interpreted the ending differently this time... Oh, Tobey Maguire is soooo dorky. But in a good way.
Well, everyone knows those annoying commercials that now run even before the previews? There was one for movietickets.com, and in the middle of it I just almost started to cry. I guess one of the disadvantages to being female and NEVER crying about anything big is you feel like bawling at strange moments.
It occurred to me again today that, despite how "normal" I feel - how much I feel like I am just like all my male friends - I am not now "normal" and never will be. :(
*casts eyes down*
And please, I don't want to argue about what is "normal." We all know. You can either say you are, or you can't.

Date: 2002-05-19 09:40 pm (UTC)I myself cried 4 times the first time I saw Spider Man, with thick tears streaming down my cheeks.
The second time 3 times.
I've cried all 7 viewings of Lord of the Rings.
You're not female, you're just an emotional guy ^_~

Date: 2002-05-19 10:29 pm (UTC)The thing is, females (tend to) have more of this one chemical that is released when they cry. So while it is not natural for me to cry a lot, occasionally I guess things must reach a point where I almost sort of have to cry.
Ha ha, I'm a female guy. But I can't deny I'm "technically female."
Re:
Date: 2002-05-19 10:50 pm (UTC)I used to think so, but my opinion changed. You can be whatever you want to be.
I'm "technically" not japanese... But I'm *sooo* japanese.
