Hmm. Thinking. And thinking. Am wearing my thinker out.

I just want to know...why...exactly...I always do things differently? That's all I want to know, is why.

I'm not complaining...well, I reserve the right to occasionally complain about my past and being trans. But this is not a complaint.

I just keep thinking about how I never, ever manage to do something in the conventional way.

I could almost start to believe in karma. Because could any one person be this consistently odd in a natural world of chaos?

Actually, yeah. It's probably possible, statistically.

I think it would be weird to be conventional. I don't really know too many people who are... though I seem a little less conventional than most, even in the company I keep. Or at least unconventional in the things that are important to me. Anyway, I'm familiar with that 'can't I ever do anything normal?' feeling, and it does get to me sometimes. It is hard to always swim against the currents, to not just go along with the prevailing culture.

I'm really sorry about chat earlier. I honestly thought you weren't supposed to meet until midnight our time, and I did want to talk to you. *hugs*

Love you - in a friendly way, rather than otherwise... though that's subject to change (the type, not the fact of it! That is not likely to change, ever.),

Man, you two! Get a room!

hehehehe omg. I did NOT.

Oh.. and I apologize for freaking out and getting pissed. It was my fault. I don't communicate well sometimes. I'm feeling all better now. Yeah.. oddly enough.. I am. *shakes head*
I shouldn't have imposed myself at all... that was wrong and I apologize to both of you.

*huggles* and *love*
to both of you.

I agree, though... I'd hate to be normal.
I've grown to embrace my doing things differently... though I sense that it's causing you a lot of discomfort, for which I am sad.

Maybe you do do some things in the conventional way, but you just don't notice them.
Coffee.. for instance. And Cats! You love cats. That's a good thing.
Um...

If the world is chaos... wouldn't it make sense to be odd? I mean...
maybe you're the only one doing things right... and all of the sheep around you are the ones who are unnatural. That could be it. Um.. yeah. Well, it could be!

I think we were all born to be individuals. We were all born to do things our own way. It's only societal pressures that cause most people to bow and do things the way their neighbor did. I mean... does anyone really like plastic pink flamingoes, lawn gnomes, and christmas lights that are meant to look like icicles but really look like a gawdaful mess across the front of their house?? Um...

*sheepish*

Yeah, that should work. I think the library's closing now, though, so I'll get to the rest later.

I was about to say "You and me both kid!". But then I noticed the comments from Frank and Deb and I think I'll just have to say, "Take a number, I was weird first!"

But I agree, it's tres annoying. I just keep telling myself that I'm quirky like the mum from Gilmore Girls and not like Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets.
