rainy_days. Go beg and grovel for yourselves.
I have decided to reply to any posts of
thies's with this icon. Simply because it is HP slashy goodness, and I hope it will drive him mad, buah.

What? Whaaaaat?
Okay, real post:
For those of you who haven't been following along (and a re-cap for those who are new), Jamie is a guy in my theatre tech program at college who drives everyone CRAZY with his ass-kissing and how he butts into conversations to go on about himself. This has been driving people nuts for two months.
Well, I finally figured out how to deal with the guy. It's this simple: tolerate him for a while...and he gets better. Really.
I think he must just have issues with needing attention very badly. I had to grind my teeth...but I discovered that once I let him blow off some steam, so to speak, and he felt that he wasn't in danger of being snubbed, he relaxed enough to actually - *gasp* - let me speak.
I mean, the other day we actually had a whole conversation! Imagine! Yes, I'm pleased with that situation.
David, the "distant gay guy," who didn't seem to want to talk with me, or hang out with the guys much at all, seems to be relaxing as well. He actually talked about cute guys in the presence of me and Navroz ('nother guy in the program.) I take this as quite a good sign. I think our general group dynamic will be better if we can relax around each other enough to talk about more personal things.
Life is good.
