I'm confused as to why I get the same BMI, despite the fact that there should be a ten-pound difference between a female body, and a male body, according to this.

hmm..

From what I know about BMI, I think the value they're giving you (18.8 kg/m2) is based on the information you input.. i.e. weight and height.

The other values.. Lean BW, Ideal BW, are given as the guidelines they used to determine if you fall into the "normal" range. Normal is probably a moderately wide range of BMI values.

sorry.. that was probably boring. :P

Well, I hope "lean body weight" isn't included in the range, because I think a 5'7" female who weighed 95 pounds would be considered near death. ;)

But the ideal body weight, yeah, that's what I'm supposed to weigh. Except this online thing doesn't factor in body structure. And I have a very slim frame, so if I weighed 136 lbs, I'd be very overweight.

haha.. that is true, isn't it :)

about the body structure.. it does seem to be an oversimplified thing.. like so many things on the internet.. but it did look like fun.
I don't think I'd want to put my stats in, though :P at least not until I'm fairly done losing weight :))
