You're a feline! You're self-confident, but it's not like you didn't know that already, right? You're comfortable being in charge if you have to be, but you prefer to sit back and let someone else handle things. However, there is that nasty controlling streak that gets the better of you at times... Others might think of you as aloof and distant, but when you find something or someone you like, you'll be purring like the happy kitten you are at heart. You ole softie.

Can't connect? That's.. odd... What did you try, just clicking on the link on the furry.com page?

A MUCK is like.. A cross between IRC and a text adventure game. It's a text-only server that people can connect to, made up of a bunch of rooms, which you can move between (Usually like north/south/east/west), and chat with others in the rooms. The rooms are described (with text), as are the chats, and you can make objects, and your own home, and it's really fun. and this probably didn't clear it up any at all. :o) Sorry.

It says I need telenet or Netscape. I'm using Explorer.

Yeah, that clears things up...I mean, I get what it is now, but its sounds terribly confusing.

P.S. What's the difference between "toony" furries and "realistic" furries?

Actually, you should have a telnet program on your computer anyway. Wouldn't be the best for being on a MUCK, but it'll at least show if it's working. What happened when you clicked that link?

And it's actually not that confusing once you get into it. At least, I don't think so. Some people just don't like mucks, though.

P.S. That's just an art-style thing, really. Some artists do near-photorealistic furries (Well, not that you could really take a photo of one, exactly, but.. you know what I mean) and some draw what look like Warner Bros. characters. Most fall somewhere in between. :o)

P.P.S. That would be the term for cybersex on a muck. There's a reason why it's a different term, but it's boring. :o) I like saying 'yiff' better anyway. ;o)

It brings up HyperTerminal and just says...unable to connect.

HyperTerminal. HMm. I never used that enough to be able to easily tell if that's a problem with the program, or the connection. If you're interested in trying it out, though, I could help you get some better software.

Also, is there any reason to think that kinda thing might be blocked? Like you're connecting from school or something like that?

Okay, well, then, all you have to do is have it allow outgoing connectiosn on that address/port. Easy in theory, but depending who's in charge of the family firewall, it might be problematic, I guess. :o\
