Speaking of wolves...

beandelphikiWell, time for another installment of the adventures of me and Man-nod Boy.
Lately I've been getting the feeling that this guy (I still don't know his name) has been staring at me a lot. He seems so tense and awkward around me, it makes my skin itch. (Of course, he could be tense about summer school in general, but I couldn't know that, right?) So, just to avoid this itchy-skin feeling, I've been avoiding eye contact with him like the black plague. And I'm pretty sure he's aware of it. I've been feeling some low-grade guilt about that.
So today the guilt got to me. I was sitting up under the overpass by my bus stop, waiting for the #20 I ride to get home, and he came tentatively crawling up the slope. He stopped half-way up and kinda glanced around, so I thought he was going to sit with some friends farther down from me. But no. He looked up...and our eyes met.
At which point he crawled the rest of the way up and plunked himself down beside me (nodding of course.) And proceeded to stare in the OPPOSITE direction from me for 15 minutes while we waited for the bus.
Does this guy just have NO friends at summer school, and is looking for companionship? If so, he picked the wrong guy. The wrong LONER guy. No offense to anyone, but I like to keep to myself.

you should talk to him, you'd be surprised what talking to random people can do for you.
