This got me so good I actually cried.

I forgot about April Fool's. I'm relieved as fuck that this is a joke because really - don't even get me started on how much I hate Twitter. If I wanted to read every 140-character brain fart my friends had all day long, I'd sign up for it. But I don't.

The sad thing is that this was so completely believable that it's hard to understand why they'd even play this for laughs.

It's NOT funny.

At all.

Edit: Oh yeah, and all the people who apparently think automatic cuts would be a good idea are just blowing my mind.

news is always so fucking charming to read. Well, as much as you "read" threads full of image macros and people competing to see who can convince their own autonomic nervous system to fail due to lack of interest in any stimulation.

Hahaha...oh it was a joke? God I'm so gullible...i hadn't realized either that it was April 1 until i put my train ticket in the machine and read 'expires April 01'. But i didn't read the News post until today so i didn't link the Fools thing.

Guess i actually DID get someone alebeit someone i don't know at all to play a joke on me...even though no one else did. Hehe...

Well, I read it on the 31st, which is actually when they posted it according to their OWN time stamp. Heh. Not that it mattered, since I never, EVER remember April Fool's. I just have kind of always thought it was stupid, really.

Honestly, if those features had been real, it would have meant the absolute death of Livejournal as a blogging site. Communities would be unworkable, fandom conventions would be impossible to follow, etc.

Hence why I was so upset for the first few minutes I thought it was real. I mean, I've been here for seven years now! And the site would have collapsed.

The rickroll from last year was way funnier.
