My computer programming exam is in three hours.

I haven't slept because I took some Dexedrine in order to be able to wake up...and then took some more, just to be sure...and then it was TOO much Dex, and I was awake all night. Smoooooth.

Now it's 5:30 and I'm wide awake and have been up for the past hour and forty-five minutes. But I haven't studied because I'm too jittery and wound up.

Ugh.

Got a haircut yesterday, at least. And Christmas shopping for my coworkers done. Geeked for a bit over Restoration Hardware stocking stuffers, which I'm kind of hoping some of which make an actual appearance in my stocking, since I talked them up to Mom. (Click here and scroll down to "Tools and Gadgets" to see what I mean.)

Also found the December issue of SFX (the Who special) at Great White Games. I noticed some stuff behind the counter that they didn't have on display, so I guess next time I'll ask if they carry DWM.

I think I'll go to the school now. Maybe I can study there.

God, I don't even want to THINK about my Geography exam tomorrow. Don't even go there, self.

Entry titles are links because LJ thought they should be.

Thank you! I don't think it went too badly, actually.

It helped that I looked up my grades for this class, and while I've actually flunked some major assignments (we don't get them back, and I haven't been checking), I did get 33/30 on the midterm. Meaning, I aced it and got all the extra marks available. So I'm doing okay for tests in this course, and I'm not going to flunk or anything. I'll probably get a B- to a B.

(As for the assignments...don't even get me STARTED on how much I hate Alice 2.0. Or the fact that Excel 2007 has moved around its chart-making stuff so much that I find it impossible to use now. Even if I'd had more classroom help on the charts, I think I still would have bombed the Excel assignment because I wouldn't have had time to figure all the rest out at home. UGH.

I've taken two semesters of almost nothing BUT Windows Excel, quite literally two semesters, and that's all now totally useless. I used to be able to make a nice graph in 60 seconds flat, and now after struggling for an hour, I couldn't make one that wasn't messed up.

Yes, I'm bitter. And ranting about it. Sorry.)

Hope you made it on time! I'm frequently late because I'm commenting to lj...

To my recollection, titles have always been links. *shrugs*

Good luck on exams etc. And no more extra Dex! BAD Bean!

LOL. Well, in theory I know you're not supposed to take it to stay awake or wake up, but if I don't end up taking more than I would in a day anyway, I don't think it matters what time of day I'm taking it. 'S only for morning events that I really can't miss, anyway, because "hopeless" doesn't even begin to describe my inability to get up early.

Two alarms, blaring loudly enough to be heard a floor away, one across the room (I sleep in a loft bed) and one by my ear, playing on and off for two hours does not do it some days. So. I figure my doctor can shove it where the sun don't shine if she were going to take issue. Not that she knows.

As for the titles...maybe they always were links, but are yours a different color? Mine changed color, and since I haven't changed my layout, that was...odd.

Actually, when I got dx'd with depression, I had been discussing the possibility of going back to Dex for my ADHD, with a small dose in the morning when my alarm went off and then my regular doses with breakfast and lunch, followed by another small dose in the afternoon and one more small dose if I needed it after dinner. This was to correct my inability to actually go to bed/get out of bed. But, well, then the depression diagnosis happened, and Cipralex came into my life, and we didn't talk about Dexedrine. And now I don't take anything. *shrug* There you go.

Mine... I changed layouts, so I don't know if they did. Maybe they edited your theme?

What I hate is the lack of header box at the top of comment pages now. I hate having to use the links at the bottom of the page!

Hmm, header box? Are you using lj's comment page scheme, or your personal journal comment scheme? I use the former, but I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Used to be, when I said to read a post and make a comment, I would go to a white page but the navbar was still up at the top - same one that used to be on the Home page. But that's gone now. It makes me sad.
