You know what's worse than hold music?

Hold music which is interrupted at regular intervals so a recorded message can tell you that you're still on hold.

yup, expecally when it goes something like "your call is important to us, please continue to hold". there are just some things i hate about the machine age.

YES, that was the message exactly. Just...aargh. Especially when the music would cut out and I would think I had gotten through EVERY TIME.

You'd think the music would be enough to let me know I'm still on hold, but no.
