Those are pretty cool, actually.

How old are you now? Why don't you have a credit card? *curious*

Uh...now you've got me looking at the credit cards on the TD Canada Trust site. Why DON'T I have a credit card?

...OH YEAH! I think the answer is, "I can't keep track of my library books, wouldn't a credit card be a really bad idea?"

Mom says you can get it set up with pre-authorized payments though, so you don't have to keep track of your payments. Yes, now we're talking about it.

If I end up a bum on the street in a few years, you know why... XD

Always glad to be a bad influence. :-D

I never wanted to have credit cards, because I was sure I'd end up massively in debt. I was right. :-P But they're so convenient!

you've gotta be able to get those for less than $70 us, though. I'm sure you can find them for closer to $40us. Not sure how that translates into $C, but pounds sterling are about $2 us each.

Well, the Canadian dollar is at par now... Not sure how much that's going to affect international orders.

But yeah, basic classic chucks are around $45 U.S. (according to the Converse site), but here they'd run closer to $60ish or more (brand new from a sports store). That's about what I paid for mine. Women's chucks, especially in high-end shoe stores...my sister had to search for ones that wouldn't cost her $90-$100 Canadian.

And these ones are limited edition, so yeah...that's about what I'd expect to pay for them.

I've so seen those for less than that!

I can't wear flats though...they kill my feet. They WOULD match my cane, though. ;)

I read some article somewhere where they said what kind of shoes House wears. Do you know/recall? BTW, House is on the cover of TV Guide this week.

Where, though? I've never seen chucks go here for less than $60 Canadian, I swear. Maybe at an outlet store or something, but I doubt I'd find these there. I can find 'em on eBay for less, but not in the right size. Eh.

Don't know what sort of issues you have with your feet; I'm guessing it's more than what most people deal with. But that sort of lack of support honestly isn't good for ANYONE'S feet, sooo...technically, these shoes shouldn't even sell. :P Virtually all of my shoes aggravate my plantar fasciitis, but I don't really care.

House's shoes...I know they're Nike, but that's that's all I can recall. I know I've seen people track down the specific model he wears in each episode - at least for the first season.
