A filtered post to me just alerted me to the fact that

a) I haven't posted anything or commented here since my last post about those jerks at the train station, and

b) that was a week ago.


I'M OKAY! In fact, I (disappointingly), don't even have a bruise.


(I think maybe it's too deep? It hurts to i) stretch or twist on that side, and ii) cough, sneeze or laugh too hard, but otherwise, it's much better. It hurts more in the mornings, but I barely notice it during the day.)

My DEEPEST apologies to anyone who was at all worried about me. I meant to thank everyone individually for replying to my entry (which was so TL;DR - you people are troopers for getting through it), and just didn't.

There's not really an excuse for that. It was incredibly gauche of me not to MAKE time to reply.

Thank you all, by the way, for replying. In offline life, I have some casual acquaintances through work, and my family, and that's 99% of my entire social circle while the other 1% I'm not currently in contact with. That doesn't usually bother me much. But it's very easy to think that there's almost no one who really gives a shit about me enough to take notice of that event.

Thanks for providing support I don't otherwise have. It meant a lot. Something I should have told y'all before!

Yay! Glad you're doing ok. I was 90% sure that you were fine, but I was thinking there was probably a 2% chance you were hiding in a corner of your room covered by boxes and not wanting to leave the house.

Pain sucks. I'm glad your lung didn't collapse or anything.
