LOL, that cat is up to NO GOOD with that knitting, I just know. Heh. Even if someone posed it like that, I'm sure they were sorry a moment later when the cat started chewing on the knitting/trying to drag the needle off/etc.
I should know, I have four. Why do knitters always have cats when the two things are so incompatible?
Anyway. You might try knitting again! I just started, and I can see where it would have driven me nuts as a kid (sez the survivor of many a failed crafts course...), but I'm finding it okay these days.
I remember my knitting attempts. I always made the stitches way too tight. Actually made the needles screech. Not a pleasant sound, I can tell you. And then, after knitting a very irregular and lumpy inch or two, I lost patience and did something else. Origami *gg*. Or silk-screen printing. Or whatever ^^.
My attention span hasn't lengthned since ^^.
But yayz for you figuring out teh purling ;). Eeh, four cats. Want. Cat. Too. Now.
but... George W. Bush is the personification of evil in this world, and purling is... so far as I know, making knots in a piece of string.
Unless it, too, is somehow evil, like maybe... the hobbification of evil? I guess that would be pretty bad, too, but I think GW has more of a global impact. Maybe not in socio-economic circles, but at least in most political spheres.
