Edit: Drinking alcohol and blasting "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" to celebrate, and other thoughts have occurred to me:
-BRAIN ASPLODEY! Fucking cool, man.
-How much is Chase like House, man? It was a little blatant this episode, but then again - how blatant was it having him replace House during the "House is too pain-addled to think straight, and diagnoses a condition that would have killed their patient by now, fucking DUH," episode, and pull a Housepiphany? This episode he was going around analyzing everyone. He's a really fascinating character.
-House really was smiling when he was talking to the patient. I love that, weirdly. It's not like he was happy she was dying, and I honestly don't think the antidepressants are all to blame, either: he was discussing the one thing in the world that gives him a "natural" high, and he was smiling. For the win, man.
-I actually kind of liked Honey, you know. I want to see a little more of her. (Although not a LOT more.)
-Wilson winking at a patient! Wilson struggling with his gloves! "There we go, one's good enough." I was literally screaming with laughter. I so gotta read the fics people are going to make out of the wink.
-Oh yeah, FOREMAN - what's up with him telling Chase point-blank he doesn't like him if he's so anxious to avoid being House? What doesn't he like about Chase, exactly (and I'm really curious here, although I have speculative thoughts). What's with him spilling his guts to Cameron? Huh...
-I think that's it for now. More collected thoughts later, maybe.
