Excuse me while I hate people for a quiet second.

I just told delphyne_ over in feminist to go fuck herself, essentially. Arguing with her is like trying to hop lightly through a brick wall. I've not ever met anyone, anywhere with such a tightly-focused beam of a viewpoint in my lifetime. D'you know that no matter what you say, it means what the voices in her head tell her you said.

I could be warned for what I left her, maybe. I don't care if I'm banned, actually. I think if I see any anti-porn feminist anywhere today suggest that she should be able to post dismissive comments on women's sexualities and life struggles - ESPECIALLY if they aren't white, middle-to-upper class, straight, cisgendered, etc. - wherever she wants without being "attacked," i.e. disagreed with, I MAY VOMIT.

Actually, I may vomit anyway. *is not well*

Over in anti_feminism of all places, there's a post praising me in my argument with delphyne_, but that has to be the most hollow victory ever. I was just in there leaving the calmest, most straightforward comments I could manage on what I know about the term "people of color" (not much, but I know it's not the same as "colored people," dangit) and some fuckwit informed me that POC have no right to define themselves and their identities because "psychos" can't call themselves toasters.

Like...this is the saddest, most pathetic and disgusting garbage we pull on each other.

I don't care if you believe your life is in danger due to my politics, you have no right to wish ME dead.

I have so little opinion of your worth and intellect that I figure I can define you, and your opinion is just as dismissable as if you were completely out of your mind.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

Really going to go vomit now. And sleep. And wish I could rewind the past four months and start the year over.

Oh it's creepy when they praise us.

I wonder what DSYR*MSKATE will do now, because her crew is taking the opposite position that she took. How will she reconcile that?

Oh, are they? I didn't pay any attention to what her position was. But hey, I'm sure she can figure out a way to kiss two asses at once.

I've seen her leave comments around lj that makes me think there's real hope for her yet. (Har, lookit me sound like I know the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything.) She's not stupid or anything. She calls people on their bullshit sometimes. But in feminist? She can really be the cling-on, the desperate girl on the edge of the clique in high school. That whole post, I wanted to kick her out into orbit around, say, Jupiter, and tell her to grow some ovaries on the way back in.

Possibly she hates you because you're the blunt one who told her that she shouldn't copy the clique leader's makeup, it doesn't go with her skin tone. And OMG, she will hate you forever for it.

People in anti_feminism are still replying to me, I think. At this point, I'm not up to opening my email. Tomorrow, not today.

She thinks it's "harrassment" becuase when she says something stupid, I respond to her - IN COMMUNITIES. Wow.

I'm sometimes so tempted to create a sockpuppet account for anti_feminism so I can see their locked entries, but then I remember...oh yeah, I would rather have a life.

I really shouldn't ever read that comm, but I'm such an egotist I can't resist it when they talk about me.
