My supposed computer genius father has told me he doesn't have a clue how to "empty caches." He told me, "I just write programs, I don't use them!"

Great.

So I switched to loading off my sister's boomspeed account, which seems to work for her fine, so THEORETICALLY, this should work to show my background, but I'm not exactly holding my breath.

The problem with boomspeed is that it is a bum, and frequently goes down. --_--

I'm sorry, I know everyone must be sick of hearing about my background.

It's in lj FAQ. It's one of the overrides you just copy and paste into the section for "overrides" in your "modify journal" You just need to link a pic to a URL; apparently you cannot remote load anything off your harddrive, which is why I've been having problems - I needed something to remote load of off.
