Oh, great...
Oct. 14th, 2002 11:14 am*sigh*
So my condition (and it is MY condition now!) is called "spontaneous pneumothorax."
The doctor has told me:
1) That I am at high risk for this because I have asthma
2) That because I have had it once, it is very likely it will happen again
3) That because of my asthma, my chances of getting this over and over are very good
He also explained that I should not be operating the power tools at school and breathing in the sawdust. I should not be in carpentry, it's a health risk. (I told him that I have to do carpentry at school, and his reaction was, "You do WHAT?")
Oops. Too late. I'm already getting my diploma in this stuff.
So I have to visit Occupational Health, and get a proper air mask.
*sigh*
