Am in pissy mood altogether. Waiting for Nicole to come online so I can talk to her and generally feel whole mess in her lj is resolved. (If you don't know what that means, don't worry.)

Horrifying thought: she may not come on tonight. Aaagh.

Still sound slightly like Bridget Jones, although I've finished the book. (Bridget Jones's Diary, of course.) I'm sure it's perfectly okay for a guy to vastly enjoy that book. After all, it was critically acclaimed and whatnot. And Hugh Grant likes it. Aaagh, no, not a reassuring thought.

But you should read it, if you haven't already. Read, read! 'Tis TOO funny.

Further ramblings, extremely bored. Cut because there's no way you want to read it. Hey, I need something to do when I'm bored. You don't have to read it. Okay? No obligation whatsoever, so I will NOT feel guilty for rambling. Hummph. )

[livejournal.com profile] madphat_reviews already promises to be quite funny, if taken in small doses.

Note: It's one big joke. And makes fun of all other review communities besides [livejournal.com profile] reality_review.

That's all.

Edit: God, I've posted a lot today. Okay, this is IT, I swear.

Further Edit: I just read my writings for the day. I sound like an unbelievable twit. I would erase it all, but that would be quite untruthful. I give up.

Hmm, well, apparently I still have a loyal readership. *grin*

In response to "it's your journal!" type comments...well, that's quite true. And I would be quick to tell others that.

At the same time, I increasingly feel that lj is a public performance. Some people don't view it that way, or don't care, and I admire their ability to fuck the rules of lj etiquette (post IM logs whenever they feel like it, rant endlessly if they feel like it, etc.) However, I do not seem to be the type of person to do that...certainly not without anonymity, anyway.

It's interesting to me to watch how my attitude toward this constantly fluctuates. "Ah, screw it, I don't care!...oooh, yes I dooo..."

Anyway, on a totally different topic: my eating habits. They're HORRIBLE.

I have realized that my eating routine goes like this:

-get up sometime between 10 am and 1 pm. Feel too sick to eat after just getting up. Do not eat for several hours.

-4:30 p.m. Eat a small snack. (Otherwise, pass out.) Probably something extremely unhealthy.

-6:00 p.m. Get called for supper. Not hungry, due to snack. Eat some bread and a few mouthfuls of rice, or some such.

-3:00 a.m. Eat something to avoid passing out. Such as a hunk of meat. Then go to bed.

-wake up in the morning (or afternoon) and repeat process

And I've been eating like this for WEEKS.

...I'm vaguely wondering why I'm still alive. (No, not really, although I AM wondering why I don't feel like crap.)

Furcadia

My sister is very, very upset.

My father completely vetoed downloading Furcadia, that's why. (Did I even spell that right? No clue.) His pronouncment was that we all spend way too much time online as is.

And the Furcadia thing wasn't even MY idea. That seems weird.

I asked my sister (prior to my father's arrival home and subsequent veto) what sort of animal she'd be. "A feline of course!...I took that quiz you know, and it told me I'm feline, too."

Eh, so why did she say "I don't know!" when I asked her what animal she'd be if she could be one? Strange child.

P.S. So obviously, the MUCK is NOT gonna happen. Eh.
