Am in pissy mood altogether. Waiting for Nicole to come online so I can talk to her and generally feel whole mess in her lj is resolved. (If you don't know what that means, don't worry.)

Horrifying thought: she may not come on tonight. Aaagh.

Still sound slightly like Bridget Jones, although I've finished the book. (Bridget Jones's Diary, of course.) I'm sure it's perfectly okay for a guy to vastly enjoy that book. After all, it was critically acclaimed and whatnot. And Hugh Grant likes it. Aaagh, no, not a reassuring thought.

But you should read it, if you haven't already. Read, read! 'Tis TOO funny.

Took an internet quiz, out of vast boredom. "What is Your Spirit Animal." Ooh, I like tests about animals.

Flippin' test first tells me my spirit animal is the eagle. Whaaaaat? This could completely negate effects of earlier, "What is Your Furry," quiz. Bad, bad. Must take quiz again.

Okay, whew. This time it's the panther. Much better, as "panther" is the only feline result. Okay. Wouldn't mind "rat" or "otter" either, but panther is best.

But why does it tell me that my second result is the damn eagle again? And otter is third? Especially since I said I DO have an affinity for water, and I DON'T have an affinity for air. Grrr. Stupid quiz.

Random keeps sending me to stupid people. Why, oh why can't it send me to someone interesting? Someone fascinating, who I will feel compelled to read until the wee hours of the morning?

Two of the people on my friends list have now found me through Random. Makes me wonder, a bit. How much traffic do I get, anyway? Am I actually interesting to random people? Chuh!

Am coming to the horrifying realization that I am not a likable person. Not once you get to know me. People seem to like me okay at first, but that's only when they know me superficially, and then ka-poof! they realize I am truly horrible bitch-type person.

Hmm. Came in sounding like Bridget, leaving that way. Am stuck in a rut.

I read that book about two years ago. I loved it! It was hilarious...one of those cant-put-down types :)

I know they made a movie...did you see it?? I have'nt...I know it starred Renee Zellweger as Bridget, and I like her ok....

Yup. I have now given that book to my mom. :)

I didn't see the movie, but it was part of the reason I picked up the book from the library..."I've heard so much about this, I might as well read it," sort of thing.

Renee Zellweger was really great in that movie Jerry Maguire. I heard some people were pissed an American (skinny) actress got to play the role, but then people relaxed because they decided she did fine.

I think it's funny both Hugh Grant and Colin Firth were mentioned in the book and got into the movie. :)
