Yahoo this!
Jul. 28th, 2002 12:41 pmSo some of you may be aware that a little while ago, Yahoo! decided to fuck some people over. I'm not sure how many of you have Yahoo! ID's but I've had one for a few months...I got mine just prior to Yahoo! deciding to:
o Merge Yahoo!Groups and Yahoo!Clubs
o Make some Adults Groups and categories unlisted, so that you can't find them unless you have the exact URL.
Now the first thing is incredibly annoying...given that I liked the format of Yahoo!Clubs much better. But I can live with the Groups' ugliness.
The second one is NOT bearable.
Basically, Yahoo! decided that Adult Groups should not be so easy to access. I think this censorship is due in part to the effect of a Bush administration, but that's just my theory. There apparently has been a fringe group protesting it, so Yahoo! decided to screw over all the people who found Yahoo! such a comfort because they could easily find like-minded perverts.
