A few mornings ago, we got up and discovered that we couldn't turn the computer on.
Yesterday, Mom called the Geek Patrol, and they said, "If you can't even get it to come on, we can't help you. Take it in."
So now we have to haul the sucker somewhere, but as our OS is either illegal or we've lost the paperwork, it may not be a guarantee that anyone will even look at it.
I'm hoping we don't need a whole new computer, considering how much stuff I had saved on our computer that I didn't back up (we've nagged our mother for months to buy things like disks...bet she's sorry now she kept putting it off) and off course, with both me and my mother going back to school in the fall, the financial situation is worrisome.
*sighs* I really hate not having UNFILTERED comp access at home.
