A post about Friends
Jun. 4th, 2002 11:09 pmI do NOT want to put in any more quizzes...ugh, they take too long to type...but I took that age quiz, and it says I act like I am 22...and I am really 17...
Obviously, I must have a stick up my ass or something...
So this is really a post about friends.
I get home from yet another tech day at school, just pooped...and discover I have email from someone who wants to add me to their friends list. Why? They think I am COOL. Process that!!!! So OF COURSE I said yes...and I will add them to my friends list...I always add back, as I am automatically interested in anyone who actually thinks I am cool. (Obviously, it doesn't happen hella often. Just a warning, y'all.)
So I ran off to lj to check my "friends of" list...just in case this person was like me (easier-to-ask-for-forgiveness-than-permission type person.) Yes, I had one more person on my friends list...so I checked for the new one...and didn't see anybody new. I recognized all usernames.
WTF? Seriously confuzzled.
Yeah, duh. It was Rob.
Who's been on my friends list for, like, weeks. Yeah, no wonder I saw no one "new." *smacks forehead repeatedly* It took me something like 3 scans before I finally figured it out.
So this is interesting...and totally unexpected. Well. I was kinda under the impression I did not impress Rob last time we exchanged words.
Oh, I'm making a note: I refuse to get in any more dicussions about groups of people, period. This always seems to get me in TROUBLE.
Tech note: WE'RE SCREEEEWED. Our set changes are HORRIFIC! I'm so panicked about tomorrow night.
I should be cramming for physics right now, but I'm too tired. I'm going to fail that unit final. Mr. Top-of-his-class is going to faaaaail. Mr Finlay will croak - I can see the headlines now - Science teacher dies of shock while grading papers - perfect student flunks

Date: 2002-06-05 08:14 am (UTC)Actually I do think you're cool so neener.
I was fairly surprised, when I checked my list, that I hadn't already added you. So I rectified that oversight. Welcome to the stable o' madness.
