I've been emailing my English prof.
(She wanted to let me know that I got an A on my first essay, and that I should be very happy, since she rarely gives out A-'s, let alone A's. Uh-huh. And to think I was so worried because I wrote that essay at 3 am and I think I used "machinations" incorrectly. I should have known better...)
At the end of her email, she said something like, "Maybe someday you'll get around to telling me what your email address is about."
Hint, hint.
She emailed me at the start of the semester to ask me what the significance of "snowpaw" was, and speculated that I might be a snowboarder. Um...
Not really seeing any easy way to explain what the "snowpaw" bit was about, I simply didn't reply.
Since she requested the information again, I shortly responded that it referred to a sort of internet persona or something like that, that is a snow leopard.
To which she replied with, "Oh, snow leopards are beautiful, noble beasts!"
I don't know why, but that SO amused me.
I really need to get a more professional email, though. This snowpaw84@hotmail.com thing is not cutting it for more professional purposes. I wish my primary email wasn't on the blink again.
