How disabled are you?

We have calculated that you are 17% disabled.

You are only disabled when you feel like it. You occasionally sit in the 'Priority Seat' on public transport and refuse to give it up when challenged. You once broke your toe, so you tell disabled people that you empathise with them. A hangover is not a disability, you know.

Am I the only one who finds this highly offensive?

*mutters* I do NOT sit in the priority seat. Bastards.


Edit: I should add that I find the whole concept of that quiz offensive, not just my result. *smirk*

Me, neither...who would make a quiz like that, anyway? If someone shows enough presence of mind to make "patted on the head as an adult" one of the questions, you'd think they'd be aware enough not to make the quiz at all.

(Of course then there's the question of why I took it...but I was curious, what's THEIR excuse?)

The quiz is severely offensive. I have been raised since grade 2 to start writing notes and calling parking cops when I find people in disabled parking spots....

My mom's 'disabled', I don't like calling her that, so I know the hell she is going through. The fact that people can find out how 'disabled' they are...that crap.

OK, maybe I should have flagged this up more obviously, but the quiz and its intentions are highly sarcastic and satirical. Ouch! is a Disability Rights e-zine, and very good.

Muaaaa, maybe my humor radar is low today.

On the other hand, maybe I just wouldn't find it entirely funny to begin with. *shrug* Hard to tell. Not a nice day today.

Anyway, I did wonder if I was wrong, considering the "ouch" bit, so...thanks for clearing things up.
