Sorry, just haven't done my big project for costuming. Am not going to, either. I can take another...oh...15%. On top of the flat 10% that's gone for missing the class we had another assignment to hand in on.

Okay, no I can't take it. I'll have to hand it in late. It's just...I really can't deal with this assignment. It doesn't make sense, and it was making me cry.

I hate this program.

And someone hasn't posted today.

Oh...it's designing a show. Taming of the Shew. We're supposed to make it Elizabethan and THEN make it illustrate the "theme" for the play (that we come up with.) My problem is I cannot see the characters in anything other than Italian Renaissance, so I am totally blocked. Plus, the play is set in Italy...

okay first off most like ly what your think of as renaissance is elizabeathen(like if your thing gwenth's dress in that movie she was in about shakspeare sorry forgot the name, that's elizabeathen)but darling I'm a tad confused about the theme thing... what's your theme??

Hahaha...my theme, I think, has something to do with conformity and the pressures of society, but being a total fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants guy when it comes to homework, I'm not totally sure what it is exactly.

And..no..we studied Elizabethan earlier this year. That was...English costuming. Not Italian. There might be some cross-pollination, but still...

the main difference between the italian and english elizabeatan was the farthinggales (ie hoops shirts) there were two different types...GRAH i don't have my book with me so this is mostly from memory...I'm thinking.... lets see you could always do a color schem throught the show, to symbolize the conformity... see i used that same idea when i last costumed that show and we did it modern in sm bondage wear.... hmmm lemme see you could....damn memeory i can barely remembe rthe characters or plot...

I'm so sorry you're having troubles with the assignment. It does sound very confusing. I wouldn't have the slightest idea what to do with it. Hopefully the prof will understand and will help out some. *crosses fingers*

Oh, and I'm sorry I didn't get to post today... was... ummm.. commenting on tons of different posts... some of them from July of last year. Um... hope I don't fill up your inbox too much. ;)
