I realize I haven't been on in days.

I've just been staying away - mostly because I don't have the time, but also because it feels like a strain on my mental health lately. I'm tired of being paranoid that everyone secretly hates me; because I can't find time to comment, because my entries suck, because I'm an irritating asshole, what have you.

Anyway. Enough of that.

I have SO much homework, there's no way I should be on here. I have to read Taming of the Shrew and basically write what could be as long as an essay on it by Monday. I need to finish a pattern for shorts for Monday, too. And I need to go shopping for fabric to make the shorts out of. (Monday again.) Yeesh. Pulling all-nighters on a weekend. How much does that suck?

Hey, siegeengine - you know your Christmas card? I gave it to my mom a while back to mail while she was out doing a bunch of stuff, and yesterday she...found it. (AAAAH!)

*holds head* All this time, I thought it was on its way...

Hopefully, we will remember to mail it tomorrow (um, technically later today, I guess) while we are out shopping.

Mom calmed me down and told me that as long as it arrives before Valentine's, it's no huge breach of etiquette. Oh, like THAT'S what I cared about.

Oh, also read in haleth's journal about the "honey" thing. *snicker* Weird, I read that thread, and totally didn't notice it.

But then, I've had guys call me "honey" in my journal, too. I just don't think it has anything to do with me, it's a verbal habit of theirs.

Trust me, if you were a woman, and with a guy for *counts* 13 years! Damn... doesn't seem that long. Anyway, then he tells you he's gay? Yeah, you'd notice when men call him 'honey'. Maybe not after a few months of it, but this was the first time I'd seen it. So I noticed. I'm not complaining about it, it was just... you know if you go someplace familiar, and something's been moved? There's always that 'bzuh?' moment there, and I had one. So: Bzuh?

He has MSN! (and he just got home so I should go and let him type this) But it's not installed on this computer. Think I'll start dling it now...

hehe.. yah, I know it's just a verbal expression, but it seems funny to see it in print, for some reason. I mean, I know I use "pet" names at times when I'm talking to people, but I don't go out of my way to write them down when I'm messaging them.

I have msn! Actually, thanks to haleth I have every messaging system known in the free worlds. I just usually can't remember my screen names on any of them, so I have to make a new one each time. hehe :)

I think msn uses hotmail addresses, though, so I'd be greatmaul@hotmail.com. That would be soooo cool to get to chat with you.
