Okay, I meant to get stuff down on American Idol's first results show this season, and look how long I put it off? Yeah. So this is going to be mostly from memory from five days ago - if I get anything out of order, that's why.

Okay, so Wednesday night we watching American Idol saw the girls. Last night, it was all about the guys. I watched this with my sister, so I included some of her comments as well.

And probably no one cares about these entries except me, because I've never seen a sign that anyone on my friends list is actually into Idol. But I still want to make these posts each week because I'd like written record of what I thought.

Again, I think my attributions for the songs are right, but I'm not totally sure.

( Better than the girls overall, but no stand-outs like the girls had )

Tonight is judgment night! Four are getting cut. Can't wait.

Okay, so coming out of the American Idol-fan closet here somewhat, this is my synopsis of how the girls did last night.

(For anyone vaguely following: the judges picked the Top 24, it's down to America voting now. Last night, the 12 girls sang their first songs. Two are getting booted off Thursday, along with two of the 12 boys singing tonight, so then it'll be down to the Top 20.)

I did my best to attribute these songs correctly, but I'm not completely sure they're accurate.

( Sort of a blah set of performances, mostly )
