Ugh. Been working on my design homework. I wanted to get on earlier and check my friends page, but I only got to [livejournal.com profile] parryhotter tonight.

Head-shrinking night tonight. Thankfully, I worked out some things with Dr. Miles. I don't have as many worries as I did. And we spent most of the session talking about boring stuff like my future career, and my parent's divorce. Blah, blah. I wonder when we'll actually start talking about gender. Not like I'm in a rush to get there, but it was just a thought.

I got an HP (CoS) 2003 calender! Whoo! And it has stickers! Whoo!

And I got a nasty skin reaction from the soap I used on the brushes in Paint. Miranda asked me if I'm just the kind of person who's allergic to EVERYTHING. Yeesh.

It's one, so I should go to bed. I swear I will try to read you guys tomorrow. I'm still completely addicted to lj, but this on top of everything at school and whatnot is so draining sometimes.

This is my little bit of the Mandelbrot set.
I got it from the mandelbit generator.
You can get one there too.

Dunno what the heck this is, but it's pretty, right?

It's a fractal.. the Mandelbrot set is one of the better known types of fractal (as far as I know.) It's based on the equation Z = Z2 + C

where C represents a constant and Z starts at zero. Every time the equation is run, the value of Z changes in magnitude. In the Mandelbrot set, the magnitude of Z is never more than two. After testing a bajillion points and graphing the ones that are part of the Mandelbrot set, you get a pretty picture.
