Christmas with Dad

beandelphikiWent to my dad's today.
It turned out pretty good. We exchanged gifts (yay! he didn't write us off!) and we went off to get milkshakes. We have plans to get together on New Years, to go out for dinner and then see all the New Years displays at the zoo.
It's finally snowing!
Bleck.
I was mildly concerned that my dad would get us something we already had for Christmas, because he's out of contact with all other gift-givers, but it wasn't a problem. Actually, he got us some AWESOME stuff. (And more than I would have expected; I wonder if he's actually fallen into the "buy-things-to-make-up-for-not-being-there syndrome"?)
I go the 8 Mile soundtrack (SCORE!) and the complete set of Horatio Hornblower videos. (All six!) Slashy Horatio, yay!
My sister got Lilo and Stitch, as well as a cool book on HTML, which we are both very interested in.
