such is life.....it won't keep me from self-expression......never has i guess.

OH! Yes, I was hoping this would come up. So I hope you see this.

See, I'm reading your entries, and feeling quite guilty that I haven't commented, actually. My problem is simply that...I...don't...get it.

I don't think I really "get" this D/s thing, definitely not 24/7...I'm not really sure what I should ever say. I don't have a sense of context in which to respond. I've been skimming thru some stuff in [livejournal.com profile] power_exchange tho. Is that a good community?

But I did want to ask you - does your Daddy ever read your journal? Or are those letters just to work things out for yourself?

some, in fact most of the letters, are sent to her. i post them a s aform of venting the wya that i would writ eletters and not send them.
*smiling* alot of folks don't 'get it'....you're not the only one....do you have any particular questions about it? a s alifestyle? apparently, you seems to have a little intterst since you've been delving into the community you listed.....i'd be glad to answer any questions.....shit, maybe it will help me work out some of my own questions.

Um, let's see...where to start.

Okay, well I'm wondering how much BDSM and D/s overlap, to begin with.

I've heard that in an S&M realtionship, the sub is really the one in control, but where does that leave the dom? And is that the same with D/s? Who's really in control of the situation in both instances?

And basically, what are good traits for a dom to have?

That should be all for now. *chin in hands*
