YAY! I basically have a free night! A free night to READ YOU PEOPLE! A free night to get caught up on who's upset, and who's in love...dream posts, link posts, essay posts, diary posts, all kindsa POSTS!

Guess what. I have a blinding headache. And I still feel sick from yesterday, when a cold, combined with my lung, laid me low.

*pained sigh*

So when I finish some replies and this post, I am going to go swallow painkillers and have a hot bath. And then come back!

I asked my sister if I could borrow her copy of CoS for some reference while I write a drabble. (No, I haven't read it two million times.) It is SO annoying not having my own copy of the HP books. Especially when my sister is a little snark about lending them out. (Although she was good tonight, thank ye god.) Mom says she looked at the book set for me in Costco, and it was 60 bucks Cdn. and that's at half price. Ouch.

Anyway, so here's Nicole: "You write fan fiction?" (She's 14. She's an H/D shipper. No comment.)

"Yeah, kind of." For like, three days. And I'm, you know....bad. Hence the reason I haven't posted anything and probably won't for a while.

She actually seemed interested. Should I tell her that the drabble I wanted to check CoS against is Justin/Basilisk?

...Nah....

...But MAN would that ever be funny.

Post! Post!

You can write, you can write! You write damned well, and if I can tell that from LJ then your fics will be good too. Anyway... drabbles! Cool.

Breathing is good. Glad you can. *gentle hugs*

Who is Justin?

and... I can wait. Whenever it's ready, I'll read it. :) I know I'll like it anyway, but still... if you need a beta, I studied English for years...

...not that you can tell by the way I write. Escrito en ingles muy mal ;)

Justin Finch-Fletchly. (I think that's how you spell it, anyway.) The guy who the sanke went for in the Duelling Club...one guy who got paralyzed by the Basilisk. Yeah. Hufflepuff.

And I'm ashamed to admit that I really have no bloody idea what a beta is. Except I'm guesing by your comment it has something to do with editing.

Oh.. hehe yeah.
Beta, as in beta testing your fic.
Like what the software companies do with their new programs.. they release them to a select group to find any bugs that they missed.

A lot of slashers call "proofreading" "beta-ing."

*rereads the pairing* Now, I'm scared. And there I was thinking the creepiest pairing ever was Hagrid/Nagini but...
