A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
There was a little boy, about 12 years old. His name was Dan. He went to see a movie on the largest screen in his city, in the oldest cinema house. This movie was Return of the Jedi and when he saw it, Dan felt as if a key had turned in a great lock, and he said, looking at the performers on the screen:
"That's what I want to do when I grow up."
You had plans, once. Big plans! You were going to be famous, or rich, or well-traveled, or liked by everyone. You were going to be someone really special.
You're still someone really special. You're just not THAT someone really special.
You might want to mourn those plans, since the time or opportunity for them is now gone. You might not have the talent for them, or maybe your perspective has changed.
But mourn them often. Why not? Don't they deserve that much? Didn't they mean enough for that?
And one day it'll stop hurting in even that small little way.
And on that day, you'll be old.

Ah. I don't really know what to say. Just needed not to ignore this. *hugs*
Cool about the house. Or not cool, that's very sudden. Hope you can find a new place pretty efficiently, and it doesn't suck.
