Mar. 31st, 2002 12:06 amEh, my mom rocks!
Okay, so I've mentioned I need a new binder. My mom offered to take me shopping for a Barbie doll to use as a subject for Photography at school. (It's supposed to represent "something I used to be" - I chopped his hair off and dressed him in Ken clothes to show how I played with my toys as a kid, which pretty much defines my childhood. Oh, yeah, now the Barbie's transitioning, too. I got attached to him. His name's Andy. Not much has changed.) I asked if we could try getting something to use as a binder, too. She said sure.
Huh, whadaya know, she thought I meant school binder. Serious miscommunication problem, here.
We got that all straightened out. As it turns out, we couldn't get me a binder at Wallmart b/c
1)Of course, since I live in Canada, prices on stuff like back braces, etc. are twice the price in the U.S. and my mom didn't have the cold cash on her. (She thought she was buying a Barbie and a school binder, remember.)
2)There wasn't anything that looked truly useful in Wallmart, or anyplace else. It should be mentioned that Wallmarts in Canada, my mom tells me, are a lot smaller than the ones in the U.S. (Cultural differences again. *sighs*)
So we ordered through Sears. *laughs* My tummy trimmer should be here Thursday. Yay!

Other than that, I can't see what you wouldn't have understood.
