DUUUUUDE! I just figured out how to check what people's icons look like! COOL!

Oh, I have a beef with the community Reality Review. They seem to insist on customization of journals. Why? I have a default, and I like it that way. Open, clean, easy to read, that's what I think. The first lj I ever ran across was styled much like mine; same colors, too, and I very much liked it. So that's what mine is like, and I prolly wouldn't change it much even if I had a paid account.

Weird, wild customization bugs me. It's not readable. Doesn't that defeat the whole point of a journal?

Perhaps, there are some, who are so overrun by image, the customize everything in their journal.

Otherwise, there are people who are bored, know how to image and HTML, and have too much spare time *whistles and looks around*

As I wrote in groovycat's journal:

For some reason, I do not like people rating journals, randomly at least. At points when reading the review it can be degrading to see your life throw back at you in the face and saying, "Make it look prettier" or "Don't do things that bug me."

Oh yes, I agree with you wholly about the rating thing.

I mean, this person said at the end of the review "a probable addition to my friends list." Wow. I mean, would YOU want someone on your friends list simply because they rated you "worthy" enough to deserve their attention, instead of just because they LIKED you? I mean, come ON. That's insulting.

Now, we all know isa is cool, we didn't need a RATING for that. If this person wanted to put me on their frineds list (although I dooubt they would, with such high standards and all) I wouldn't want them there.

That's like a man deciding to go after a woman because he thinks "an eight, that's worth it." She would think (if she knew), "Bite me, asshole."

teehee. i can see your points about why the rating thing is stupid, but, at the same time, i have no dignity nor do i ever really care what people think of me, so i tend to overlook the insulting things and instead just remain pleasantly amused. :p
