Gypsy, acid queen
Jun. 5th, 2002 11:31 pmIT'S OOOOOOOOVEEEER! WHEEE!
For anyone new who doesn't know what's going on (that would be Pat - hah, no, j/k) I am in technical theatre class at school, which means we do all the tech stuff for our school shows and get CREDITS for it (whoo!)...so sound, lights, set construction, etc. We've just finished the Drama 30 projects...Drama 30 students direct a play, we stage manage and tech it.
So this girl Tia decided to do excerpts from Tommy, the musical. It went well! We didn't screw up majorly, we actually got the scene changes worked out on time. Phew.
And my parents showed up!!!!
Oh, and I like Rob's entry on femmes...I think I'm gonna print that off.
I had that physics test today, but I'm pretty sure I aced it, so no matter.
In math we had that dipshit sub again, so Fae, Aaron and I took off for the field and stripped down and suntanned. That is nice, except they both look at me weird when I put on/take off my binder...and then I can never get it on quite as tight as I did before.
Speaking of binders, Kat commented on the effectiveness of mine today. I know it is, but that's still nice to hear. :)
English...another f@%king Mock A...christ, I'm so tired of those. I'm not making coherant sense anymore when I write them...I'm aware that several of my last interpretations of Miller's "Death of a Salesman" totally contradict each other.
At lunch Carmen told me techs were called for 4:30, but last night it was 6:00, so I didn't have dinner or stage blacks...
...so I spent all of Comm Tech trying to get thru to my mother and got nearly nothing done. My mom picked me up after school, and dropped me off for 4:30...
....and there was NO CALL UNTIL SIX. Arrrgh.
So Nick tried to teach me how to play Magic.
My head is empty, so I'm done now.
I gotta think of something better to say, 'cuz the last several entries have been summaries of my days, and if I'M getting sick of them...I'm just always too tired to think these days.
God, I'll be glad when diplomas are over, and I can look forward to...a summer job and summer school!
Oh, joy.
