My userinfo tells me I updated last 5 days ago. Whoa.

Okay.

First and foremost, I have not been on lj much lately - I'm feeling kinda burned out. And the Tiger thing was hard. (I still don't think I've really grieved to the point it's "out" of me - meaning, I haven't grieved at all. I'm wondering if I will, and what will happen with me mentally if I don't. Eh. So...)

So I didn't thank everyone for their very kind comments on that at the time. I regret that, it was terribly rude. But I want to thank everyone who commented to me during those few days now. It was deeply appreciated.

Second, after tonight I lose the internet. My family is moving half-way across the city, and well, we're taking the computer, too. So it needs to be disconnected. I'll actually be without my home comp until the end of Friday. That's like, 3 days. I've never...you know...been away from a computer that long. Okay, well, I have but... Weird.

So I won't be on lj. Um, yeah. That's a switch.

Thirdly, [livejournal.com profile] griffen made a post today about fears, and invited people on his friends list to state what they're afraid of. I decided to do it here, so if anyone wants to join in over here, go for it. I wanna know what you're afraid of.

What I Am Afraid Of

1. Number one biggest phobia - leeches. I got one on me once, and for various reasons, it was incredibly traumatic.

2. Worms, slugs, snails, bugs with more than eight legs. Anything that even vaguely seems worm or caterpillar-like. This is related to the leech phobia.

3. Wasps and bees. Getting stung hurts like a bitch. I only had it happen to me once, but childhood pain you remember as so much worse than adult pain.

4. Okay, no more bugs. I'm afraid of eating with my back to a room, or sleeping with a window open.

5. Wait, one more bug thing. I'm scared of having things crawl on me in the night.

6. I'm a little wary around dogs. Got sort of attacked once, my dad let it happen. He thought it was funny. Long story.

7. Sex.

8. Criticism.

9. Praise.

10. I'm afraid I won't do what I was meant to do on this earth before I die. I'm especially afraid because I feel I'll die young, and I don't have much time.

11. Public humiliation. BIG one.

12. I have a lot of fears wrapped up with transition that are hard to articulate.

13. Losing face. Edit: I would include Griff's "people laughing at me" and "making mistakes" in here.

14. Ummm....I know there's more. But they're not coming to me. Either they're too vague, or they're not big ones.

It occurs to me that I have to find EVERYTHING that I signed up for with my primary email and switch them once this move is over, because we can't stay with the same ISP. *sigh*

Have to go to class now.
