i have no idea what alberta's like, but i live in georgia, in the middle of the bible belt, in the deep south. i HATE it...but haven't those people ever seen rocky horror? i mean, sheesh! and, btw, have you ever heard of/seen/been obsessed with rent? awesome broadway show involving lots of less-than-traditional lifestyles and such. it's awesome, and a great thing, cause it portrays gay/lesbian/transgender relationships and people as more than just "the token gay". you've probably heard of it, if you're into theater, but maybe not. you should get aol instant messenger so we can talk- you're awesome!
Not totally sure whether Rocky Horror is a good example. But I don't think most of my friends have seen it. And I guess it DOES come down to my being an ftm, so they really didn't have a clue. *shrugs*

I want aol, msn, all that stuff, too. I have to fight my parents on that issue, tho. I might have better luck w/ msn. You got msn?
haha. i love rocky horror. not the most realistic of movies, though, huh? i'm actually listening to the new broadway recording of it right now... i don't have msn, but if your parents are not liking the downloading of AIM, go to http://www.aim.com/get_aim/express/aim_expr.adp (or jsut go aim.com and click "AIM Express"), it's a non-downloaded version. you'll still have to register for a screen name and junk, but you don't have to actually put stuff on your computer. ::shrugs:: it's cool. i'm thespianic, if you get it and wanna talk. :-)
