This exasperated me. "That's all well and good for people who can afford homes with privacy, but imagine you lived in an igloo, grass hut, or teepee. Do you really think adults having sex had separate bedrooms from the children?"

Ron laughed. "Probably not! The kids would've just thought bumping uglies was a normal part of being a grownup."

Dear, the only thing traumatic about seeing one's parents having sex is being told that it's traumatizing. Can you think of another species that hides from its offspring in order to produce their siblings? Well, the majority of this species doesn't hide, either. Seperate bedrooms are a product of puritanical western culture, very much carried away. Now there's trauma for ya. :-P
