*nodding* Yep, had the exact same diagnosis and hence, I am no longer working with printmaking or in a print shop and I have moved to somewhere sufficiently foggy and moist. Kinda like living in a humidifier.
And I haven't had to go back to the hospital for lung stuff in 8 years, so it's highly treatable, especially if you keep your asthma under control.
My biggest problem currently is smokers. I live with two of them and while they keep it out in the garage for the most part, just the smell of cigarettes on clothes is enough to trigger me. I don't want to be a dick about it since I know they've both tried to quit and are currently trying to gradually ramp down to quit again - but it's hard to be Mr. Tolerant when you're sucking on a nebulizer because of someone else's vice.
Anyway, digression aside, I just wanted to let you know that while you are prone to getting this again, you can work it out so that you're less likely to. Getting a good mask saved my bacon in that regard. I just had to remember to -wear- it. *laugh*
